About
“The cast absolutely CRUSHED it!”
Laurie is known for her ability to tend to client needs, control the chaos and make it happen (whatever "it" may be) with a calm head and a cool, yet ridiculously friendly demeanor.

then and now...
A former professional stage actor, Laurie’s career included national and international touring, often performing several shows in a single day. This experience - combined with her innate ability to connect with people and performers of all levels - was a natural segue into teaching and casting.
In 2009, Laurie launched her own company - Laurie Records Casting - and still rolls her eyes at the humdrum name. Along with casting all types of commercials, she also works on theatrical projects, finding hosts for programs such as DC All Access and Disney's Movie Surfers. She’s cast voiceover talent for Mattel’s Barbie and Monster High, and has found her fair share of unique “Real People" for various projects as well. Over the years, she’s worked on This Just In… for Cartoon Network and also had the immense pleasure of casting for The Muppets & Muppets Now. Check out her IMDb page for additional theatrical-type credits.
When time allows you might find Laurie as a guest speaker for numerous top-notch organizations, including SAG-AFTRA Foundation and Universal Studios. She is a member of the CCDA.

SEAHAWKS FAN
...and she's not new to this. Laurie saw her first in-person game at the Kingdome circa 1980. She's loved the Seahawks through the good and, yes, ALL the bad.FOODIE
If Laurie had 3 wishes, it might be a neverending supply of artichokes (duh!), oysters and uni. But amazing bread and butter is hard to beat. Eating (everything!) while globetrotting is one of the great pleasures in life.HIKER
Laurie has climbed a 10,000 foot mountain in British Colombia from sea to peak, hiked the Milford Track in New Zealand, tackled Angels Landing in Zion National Park, and conquered Rim-to-Rim in the Grand Canyon. Hiking the W in Chile was her latest mind blowing (aka crazy) adventure.
